Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Supervisor, Procurement & Logistics is responsible for coordinating procurement and the distribution of supplies and equipment to support the activities and meet organizational needs. The Supervisor will be responsible for effective process management, organizing and monitoring storage, internal distribution and inventory supply of goods. Goal is to enhance the process and ensure smooth operations with a focus on sustainability, supply and effective decision making.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Successful completion of post secondary diploma, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain Management, purchasing, business administration or similar discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in operational logistics and Just in time inventory is an asset
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
• Project management experience is an asset
• Working knowledge of Broader Public Sector Directives
• Well versed in supply chain principles and practices
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical mindset
• Demonstrated strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Thoroughness and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Work, Excel for analytical review
• Ability to self direct and support
• Flexible and adaptable
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively with a variety of people in a team environment
• Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends if required
• Acceptable performance and attendance records
